Cola-Clash Week #10 – Ortonville, MI

Jonathan BarberCola Clash Updates

Praise the Lord for a tremendous week at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ortonville, MI.  This church was organized and poised for a great week.  When we arrived, everything was in order, with helpers all around.  God blessed the recruiting by causing the word to spread far and wide.  The teenagers in the youth group were a real help.

The church ran their buses full-tilt picking up about 80% of the attendees.  God gave us a high night of 99 with 30 saved for the week.  Another helpful addition was the fact that a man in the church offered to buy a shirt for every teenager and sponsor.  He outfitted 114 teenagers plus a few adults with t-shirts!  It helped team spirit tremendously.  I must say that the Cola-Clash has never looked so good as when there was a just a sea of red and blue.

Praise the Lord for this church.  Praise the Lord this pastor.  They were such servants this week.  They bent over backwards in every way this week.  It is always evident to us which churches are really prepared for a work of God.  These folks were hungry.  We are praying for much fruit that would remain.  There were several key victories this week.  Thank you so much for praying.

One more week left!  We are trusting God for a powerful finish!
