War of Special Forces Week #2 – Kent, WA

Jim Van GelderenSpecial Forces Updates

This is the second time the War of Special Forces has been conducted at Galilee Baptist Church. However last time the Christian School was not in session. This was the first time we conducted the War of Special Forces in the Christian school. Galilee is pastored by a college classmate of mine. It has been a blessing to labor together with Pastor Steve Hicks.

Several of the students dealt with sin and I believe experienced personal revival. We also had several come from the area and trust the Lord as well. A young man in the Christian school came forward in an invitation and was burdened about a problem with viewing habits. The next night he was saved and there was a definite difference. The youth pastor mentioned this young man was never touched or moved by anything spiritual before. Another young lady came to the principal broken about cheating. A different young lady threw some books into the fire concerning which the Lord had convicted her. We also were encouraged with those saved who had been invited from the community. Daniel came on the first night and responded to the invitation and, I believe, trusted the Lord. On Friday night he gave a testimony of his salvation.

It was a good week and we will look forward to being back in 2014.
