Special Forces Week #5 – Morgantown, WV

In 1992 the MET visited Faith Baptist Church for the first time.  That was one of the few times we had The War in the snow!  In 2005 the team conducted our first War of Special Forces in Morgantown.  This was our second visit to conduct “Special Forces” at Faith Baptist Church.  In 2005 the school was only through the 8th grade.  Now they go through 12th.

The enthusiasm was high from day one.  The Navy Seals ended up with the victory.  Although most of the games were close, the Seals won almost all of them.

We did not have many teens attend from the community, but most of those that did were there each night.  Two of those young people that were saved were in church the following Sunday.  I believe there is great potential of follow up with those that were saved.

On Friday, most of the school responded to the invitation.  This invitation was for those who had made decisions publically or privately and wanted the decision to last to respond.  Our burden was for the students to recognize their need of Christ’s strength and look to Him for that strength.  We had a wonderful prayer meeting where many of the students declared their need of Christ and their dependence upon Him.  It was a blessing!
