Adelphi Calvary Baptist Church is a wonderful church with a heartbeat for revival and a real vibrant relationship with the Lord. Pastor VanderHart and his family have done a phenomenal job leading their people to pray fervently and work diligently. The church is situated about 20 minutes outside of Des Moines, IA in the small farming community of Runnells, IA. The church combined with a nearby church, Altoona Baptist Church, for this event.
We had a good meeting with a great spirit. The teens who attended were totally into everything. The cheering contest was so intense the first night that we had to tell them not to jump the second night, for fear that the floor would collapse! On the final night, the mudpit was the thickest I have ever seen up until this point! Teens who went in could not get themselves out at all. It was thicker than a Wendy’s Frosty!
We had a total of 77 teens attend over the three nights, with a high night of 64. Throughout the week, 10 teens trusted Christ as their Savior. Praise the Lord for His work in hearts!
