This is the first time the team conducted the War of Special Forces in the state of Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. Grace Independent Baptist Church graciously had the team come on a later than usual notice. The enthusiasm among the students at the Christian school and those in the youth group was outstanding. A good effort was put into the recruiting effort and although we had only one rally night, it was well attended and there were well over 40 visitors. Several responded to the invitation.
We also were grateful for the responsiveness of those in the youth group and Christian school. Several dealt with bitterness issues and covered sin that they had to right with their parents.
It was a good week and we enjoyed getting to know the good people at GIBC. Pastor Perkins was a blessing and the Lord used his message on Wednesday night to touch several teens as well.
